Term 5, week 5

What an incredible week! We have been so busy exploring so many different activities that it's hard to remember them all!

During our Forest School sessions the children have been welly wanging! Using wellies to throw, measure and sort, such fun! The children have also enjoyed measuring using measuring sticks, they have hammered leaves to make an imprint on muslin cloth and enjoyed making tea, had fires and popcorn and had many woodworking sessions.

We have continued with our space and science explorations, making beautiful planet paintings for our display areas. Tigi led a fantastic coke and mentos experiment for the children to observe, the children's reactions were incredible, the photo says it all!!

Inside we have enjoyed junk modelling, extending these explorations by adding glue, paint and resources to decorate models. We have had lots of opportunities to explore colour mixing using powder paint, water and pipettes. We have enjoyed board games, math activities and so much more!

Next week we will be doing more of the same and baking fruit crumble. Happy weekend everyone, hope you all have a blast at Nick's party!
