Term 6, week 5

We've had an incredibly productive week, with lots of fun activities and lots of choosing. The children have made their own treasure boxes, finding 'treasure' from around the garden. They have made spider webs, harvested our potatoes, made clay pots to fire next week, built lands using bricks, sand and water and so much more.

We were very lucky to have our first visitor of the year on Thursday, Fliss, who led two amazing yoga sessions with small groups of children. They had such a good time and were so enthusiastic about showing us their yoga moves throughout the day. When we laid out some movement mats in the garden earlier today the children all asked to do yoga again, wonderful! Thank you so much to Fliss for coming in.

We have also enjoyed junk modelling, building, sewing, washing the cars and lots and lots and lots of water exploration!

Such a great week!

I can't quite believe that next week is our last week with our lovely Acorns. This year has gone by so, so, quickly. We aim to have an amazing last week of choosing for the children, culminating in our party on Thursday.

Please note that we will all be watching the football on Sunday and will be rather jaded Monday, so if you're a little late for breakfast club we will be rather grateful.......!!!!

Happy weekend everyone!

Dena xx
