To ensure that we are monitoring every child's progress in Acorns we use I-pads to complete observations on a regular basis.

Our observations are then posted on to an on-line journal called Tapestry. Parents are able to access our written observations, photos, videos and assessments instantly on their phone, I-pad or PC, and can respond if they so wish.

The feedback we have received since introducing Tapestry on-line journals has been extremely positive, with parents really enjoying the regular updates that give them a real insight in to their child's day.

​

Reports are written in terms two, four and six for all children, with parent's evenings around the same time. In term six the report is shared with the children's new schools to help to ensure a smooth transition.
